Fresh courts, familiar faces

We’ve been lucky to keep playing at Kingsley, Ocean Ridge and the Showgrounds – but there’s nothing like your own club. When the gates reopen you’ll find:

Lights On. Game On.

Tue, 06 Oct 2026 09:00:00 +0800

The light towers are up and the surface is down. 10 completely renewed courts – brand-new synthetic grass, new nets, custom court lighting – and a whole new vibe, coming this November.

The Countdown Is On – Opening This November

Tue, 22 Sep 2026 09:00:00 +0800

New courts. New lights. New energy. The countdown to our return to Elliot Park is officially on – the club is opening this November.

What’s new

10 completely renewed courts, ready for a fresh start
Brand-new synthetic grass – a consistent, true-bouncing surface across every court
New nets and posts
Custom court lighting for night tennis – Wednesday and Friday social sets under lights are back

“Well, I thought I'd just give them a helping hand.” Don't worry – the real courts are nearly done.

Get your racquet ready

Members – your membership was extended for two years while the courts were closed, so you’re covered. Dust off the racquet, check the strings and watch this space for the reopening schedule.
New players – there’s never been a better time to join. Special discounted memberships will be available during the Grand Opening, and your first social visit is always free.
Juniors – coaching with Mike Roberts resumes at Elliot Park once we’re back. See the coaching page for details.

Stay in the loop

The Grand Opening date will be confirmed as soon as the City of Wanneroo hands the courts back to the club. Follow us on Facebook and check back here – we’ll post the date the moment it’s locked in.

Wednesday Men’s Doubles NDTA Champs!

Thu, 20 Sep 2018 12:21:06 +0800

Hi Members

I just want to congratulate our Wednesday Night Men’s NDTA pennant team for coming out on top in their Final against Wembley Downs. I remember vividly watching our guys play against the very same team last season and unfortunately losing to them in a super tie break. This year however was a totally different story! Both teams played exceptionally well and as a spectator it was a great match to watch.

Our Wednesday Men’s and Saturday Mixed Doubles Teams have made the Finals!

Thu, 13 Sep 2018 15:00:59 +0800

Hi All

This is just a friendly reminder that our Saturday Mixed Doubles Final will now be held at Ocean Ridge Tennis Club as a combined final between Divison 1 and 2. Division 1 teams are Ocean Ridge v Alexander Park 2 and Division 2 teams are Wanneroo v Wembley Downs. Play will be from 1PM this coming Saturday, 15th September. I understand that this is a usual Social tennis day however it would be awesome to have some of our members drop down and support them. I reckon it will be a great day of tennis.
